Abdullatif Alrashdan is an Assistant Professor of Management at Kuwait University. He earned his PhD in Management from the University of Connecticut in April 2020 with a concentration in Strategy alongside an MBA from The State University of New York at Buffalo with concentrations in Finance and Management since 2016 and a Bachelor in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Kuwait University since 2006.
Abdullatif’s PhD dissertation consists of three essays on Alliance Management and Instability. Abdullatif has presented his research at several conferences that include the Academy of Management and Strategic Management Society in 2017, 2018, and 2019. He also served as a reviewer for these conferences during the same period. In terms of research, Abdullatif is interested in the behavioral antecedents that influence a CEO’s choices of foreign direct investments (FDI), new market entry, exit, and expansion. As for teaching, Abdullatif teaches undergraduate-level courses in Strategic Management and International Business.
As for his industry experience, Abdullatif started his career in 2006 as a Trainee in Kuwait Investment Authority and then worked as a financial analyst in the real estate industry between 2007 and 2014.
